2024 British BMX Hall of Fame wrap-up
The 2024 British BMX Hall of Fame is officially wrapped up. Our team would like to extend heartfelt condolences to one of this year’s inductees, Fids, honored in the King of Dirt category, following the sad news of his passing. Rest in peace, Fids.
This year, we inducted 14 incredible individuals. Although we couldn’t host a live event, it was important to keep the momentum going. We saw great engagement with our videos, social media posts, and website, celebrating all the inductees. Looking ahead, we’re planning an event for next year to honor both the 2024 and 2025 inductees. Over the coming months, we’ll be working hard to make that a reality.
We’ve taken every comment, email, and piece of feedback into account and will incorporate many of the ideas into next year’s plans. With three years of inductees under our belt, we’re also exploring fresh ways to keep things exciting as we approach year four.
If you’re interested in joining our efforts, we’re always open to welcoming new people who share a passion for documenting and celebrating British BMX history. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to recognize the incredible people and riders who have made lasting contributions to BMX.
