Congratulations, Keith Duly! Inducted into The British BMX Hall Of Fame Class of 2023

Keith Duly, or Jim Dirt as he is known, hails from Hastings and Bexhill, which has become a significant nucleus of the UK BMX scene. But that wasn’t always the case. In the early years, Keith and his family had long drives from the sleepy deep south east to get to any races, but they did it most weekends where dad Paddy would be on the mic’ and Keith’s rad style of riding would eventually see him shine when jumping comps started to become organized.

An accomplished national age group racer with British Championship titles to his name, Keith was fast and capable but his true talent and where he got noticed and sponsored was for his awesome and fearless jumping style. Riding for Redline, Mongoose and GT, Keith was considered one of, if not the best, jumpers in the European scene, an UK equivalent to his U.S teammate Tim Fuzzy Hall.

Keith won the UK King of Dirt title three years running and was instrumental in events such as the Backyard Jams. Keith is still very much involved in our sport today with his ‘Jump Club’ program and the recent rebuilding of the Bexhill track.

Congratulations Keith Duly – Jim Dirt, one of the nicest and raddest guys our sport has ever seen.
